Scott Patrick McGowan is a native of Baltimore,
a lifelong musician and the original founder of a music school established in 1993.
Scott is an avid karaoke singer, hosts monthly music jams at his home with his wife Kathy
and began writing and self-publishing books in the spring of 2017.
Scott is a graduate of the University of Delaware (class of 1989),
a happily remarried widower who works with nearly 60 mostly remote private piano students,
has recently had his second wife join him in his music school business (as did his late wife from 1996-2017),
has employed other instructors since 1997, and will soon be providing special programs for local daycare centers.
These distinctly different programs will be comprised of engaging musical sing a-longs and readings of his two children's books
along with an introduction to Spanish.

He is fluent in Spanish, loves to read and write, play music and also to see live bands at area venues and get on the dance floor.
Scott also loves Caribbean travel.
He has self-published 9 books that span 3 different genres to date,
writes the content for his websites, has had two autobiographical business articles
published in elite Baltimore area publications and has YouTube channels
for his music school and his own musical performances as well as
another one dedicated to understanding and healing from familial narcissistic abuse.
